El Leoncito started in 1977 as a small restaurent in Whittier, California serving Mexican food exclusively. Cuban food was added later in 1995 when the restaurant was relocated to Titusville, Florida. The combination of Maxican and Cuban food was accepted well and has proven to be a success since.
